Real estate jobs in the UAE and GCC
Real estate is a major employer in the Gulf, driven by large development pipelines, active resale and rental markets, and a constant flow of new residents. Brokerages, developers, property managers and investment firms all recruit. This page lists live real estate roles, with UAE and GCC listings first, and explains what to expect from the main career paths.

Real estate career paths
Property consultants and brokers help clients buy, sell or rent homes and commercial space. Leasing roles manage tenancies for landlords, malls and office buildings, and property management roles look after maintenance, service charges and tenant relations.
Developers hire across sales, marketing, customer handover, project management and finance. Valuation, research and investment roles sit with consultancies and funds, and facilities management companies employ technical and operations staff to run completed buildings.
Registration and regulation
Brokerage is regulated. In Dubai, brokers need to complete training and register with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency before they can practise, and Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia have their own regulators and broker licensing. Employers often support new joiners through registration.
Rules on advertising listings, handling deposits and documenting transactions are strict. A good employer will train you on these, and asking about compliance support in an interview shows you take the role seriously.
Understanding real estate packages
Brokerage roles are often commission-heavy, with a modest base salary or none at all, so your income depends on deals closed. Ask how commission is split between you and the agency, how leads are provided and what marketing support you get.
Developer, leasing and property management roles usually offer a fixed salary with a bonus. These can suit people who want steadier income while building market knowledge.
Starting out in Gulf real estate
New real estate consultants often spend their first months building market knowledge and a client base before deals start to close regularly. Choose an employer that provides training, a steady flow of enquiries and clear compliance support, because these matter more at the start than the headline commission split. Learn the areas you cover in detail, from community amenities to service charges and typical tenant profiles. Strong follow-up, honesty about properties and quick responses tend to build the referrals that sustain a long career.
How applying works on Voxxhire
Voxxhire lists two kinds of roles. Many listings are imported from employers' own public career sites. For those, the Apply button takes you to the employer's site and your application is handled there, under that employer's own process.
Other roles are posted by employers who run their hiring on Voxxhire. For those you apply on Voxxhire, and depending on how the employer has set up the role, you may be invited to a short structured interview with an AI interviewer, in English or Arabic. It produces notes and an advisory summary for the employer's team; people at the employer review your answers and make every hiring decision.
Before you apply, check the location, work model and any eligibility requirements in the listing. Voxxhire does not check visas, professional licences or right-to-work status, so confirm those directly with the employer.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a broker licence to work in real estate in Dubai?
Brokers need to complete training and register with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency before practising. Many brokerages hire new consultants and support that process. Other property roles do not need broker registration.
Are real estate jobs in the UAE commission-only?
Some brokerage roles are commission-only or commission-heavy. Leasing, property management and developer roles more often pay a fixed salary plus bonus.
Why does this page include property management jobs?
The page matches titles containing real estate, property, leasing or broker, so it covers sales, leasing and property management roles together.
Why does the Apply button sometimes open another website?
Some roles are imported from the employer's own careers site. Applying there sends your details straight to the employer, which handles the application under its own process.
Who decides whether I am shortlisted?
The employer does. Where an employer uses an AI-assisted interview on Voxxhire, the AI's notes and summary are advisory, and people at the employer review them before making any decision.
