Hospitality and food and beverage jobs in the UAE and GCC
Hospitality is a cornerstone of Gulf economies, with hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés, caterers and attractions employing large teams. Tourism strategies across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain continue to bring new properties and venues. This page lists live hospitality and food and beverage roles, with UAE and GCC listings shown first.

Hospitality roles you will see
Hotels recruit across front office, guest relations, housekeeping, concierge, revenue, sales and events. Food and beverage teams include waiters, hosts, bartenders, baristas and sommeliers, along with supervisors and outlet managers.
Kitchen roles run from commis and demi chef de partie through to sous chef and executive chef, with pastry, butchery and specialist cuisine roles in larger operations. Catering for airlines, hospitals, schools and remote sites is another large employer, as are theme parks and entertainment venues.
What employers look for
Guest-facing roles value warmth, presentation and clear spoken English, and Arabic or other languages help in properties with regional guests. Experience in a recognised hotel or restaurant group is often preferred, but many employers will train people with the right attitude.
Kitchen roles usually ask for culinary training or equivalent experience and familiarity with food safety practices. Certificates in food hygiene can make an application stronger, and some emirates require food handlers to complete specific training after hiring.
Packages and working patterns
Hospitality packages often include staff accommodation, transport to work and meals on duty, which can be worth a significant amount in the Gulf. Some roles include a share of service charge in addition to salary.
Expect shift work, weekend and holiday working, and a busier season in the cooler months. Ask about days off, overtime and how service charge is shared before you accept an offer.
Progressing in Gulf hospitality
Hospitality in the Gulf offers fast progression for people who perform well, partly because new hotels and restaurants keep opening and need experienced staff. Moving between departments, from front office into sales or from restaurants into events, is common in larger properties and builds a well-rounded profile. Many hotel groups run internal training and management development, so ask about these schemes when you interview. Keep your references from each property, because Gulf employers frequently check them.
How applying works on Voxxhire
Voxxhire lists two kinds of roles. Many listings are imported from employers' own public career sites. For those, the Apply button takes you to the employer's site and your application is handled there, under that employer's own process.
Other roles are posted by employers who run their hiring on Voxxhire. For those you apply on Voxxhire, and depending on how the employer has set up the role, you may be invited to a short structured interview with an AI interviewer, in English or Arabic. It produces notes and an advisory summary for the employer's team; people at the employer review your answers and make every hiring decision.
Before you apply, check the location, work model and any eligibility requirements in the listing. Voxxhire does not check visas, professional licences or right-to-work status, so confirm those directly with the employer.
Frequently asked questions
Do hospitality jobs in the Gulf include accommodation?
Many frontline hotel and restaurant roles include staff accommodation and transport, while management roles more often include a housing allowance. Check each offer.
Can I get a hospitality job in the UAE without Gulf experience?
Yes. Employers often hire from abroad and value experience in recognised hotel or restaurant groups anywhere. A clear CV and good references help.
Are seasonal hospitality jobs listed here?
Yes, when employers publish them. The listing will normally say whether a role is seasonal, temporary or permanent.
Why does the Apply button sometimes open another website?
Some roles are imported from the employer's own careers site. Applying there sends your details straight to the employer, which handles the application under its own process.
Who decides whether I am shortlisted?
The employer does. Where an employer uses an AI-assisted interview on Voxxhire, the AI's notes and summary are advisory, and people at the employer review them before making any decision.
