Everything hiring teams in GCC and India need to know about AI-assisted interviews
What is Voxxhire?
Voxxhire is an AI-assisted interview platform designed for hiring teams in GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia) and India. It runs structured voice interviews with candidates, then delivers transcript-backed scorecards so recruiters can make faster, evidence-based decisions - without sitting on every screening call.
A candidate receives a secure interview link. They answer a structured set of voice questions set by the hiring team. Voxxhire's AI transcribes responses, evaluates answers against competency criteria, and returns a scored card with direct quotes - within minutes of the interview completing.
No. Voxxhire is explicitly AI-assisted, human-decided. The AI handles the first screening round - consistent, structured, available 24/7 - so human interviewers can focus time on final rounds with top candidates, not exhausting scheduling and note-taking.
No. Voxxhire assists with structured interviewing and candidate evaluation - it generates transcripts, scores, and evidence - while authorized human hiring teams remain responsible for final hiring decisions. Voxxhire does not make autonomous hiring decisions.
Voxxhire is purpose-built for HR teams and talent acquisition leads at companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and India who hire at volume - including banks, BPOs, tech companies, healthcare groups, retail chains, and universities.
Voxxhire uses voice, not video. Candidates answer via voice conversation - which reduces camera anxiety, works on any device, and allows natural pauses and elaboration. The AI asks follow-up questions dynamically. The result is richer data than a one-way recorded video with a ticking timer.
Voxxhire currently supports English and Arabic interviews. Bilingual interview flows are supported for UAE and Saudi Arabia hiring, including Arabic offer letters and EN/AR dual-language scorecards.
Compliance & Legality
Yes. The UAE does not currently prohibit AI-assisted recruitment, provided that candidates are informed of the use of automated tools and that final hiring decisions remain with a human. Voxxhire's platform is designed precisely on that principle - AI handles structured screening; humans make the call. We work with clients to ensure their candidate disclosure notices are current.
Yes. Voxxhire stores all UAE candidate data on UAE-resident infrastructure, supports configurable data retention periods aligned with the law's requirements, and provides automated DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) handling so candidates can request or delete their data at any time. Data processing agreements (DPAs) are available for enterprise customers.
Yes. Voxxhire's Saudi Arabia deployment stores data within the Kingdom in accordance with PDPL data residency requirements. Candidate consent is captured at interview entry, and purpose-of-processing disclosures are included in Arabic. Voxxhire issues PDPL-aligned DPAs and supports candidate rights requests under the law.
Yes. Voxxhire's compliance layer supports DIFC Employment Law and ADGM Employment Regulations. Companies operating in DIFC or ADGM free zones can use Voxxhire with appropriate data processing agreements and candidate disclosures that satisfy both the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020 and ADGM's equivalent framework.
Yes. For UK and EU candidates, Voxxhire processes data under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract/steps prior to a contract). Data is stored in EU-resident infrastructure, candidate consent flows are GDPR-compliant, and standard contractual clauses (SCCs) are in place for any cross-border transfers. Voxxhire supports the full spectrum of GDPR data subject rights.
Candidate data - including transcripts, audio, and scorecards - is retained for the period configured by your organisation (default: 12 months post-decision). After that period, data is automatically purged from Voxxhire's systems. Hiring teams can also trigger manual deletion at any time via the platform or via API. Voxxhire maintains an immutable audit log of all data access and deletion events.
Yes. Voxxhire generates EU AI Act compliance reports on request, covering system transparency, human oversight mechanisms, risk classification, and logging requirements. For enterprise customers in the EU, Voxxhire is classified as a high-risk AI system under Annex III and maintains the technical documentation required under Article 11.
ATS Integrations
Yes. Voxxhire's Greenhouse integration syncs candidates bi-directionally: open requisitions from Greenhouse automatically trigger Voxxhire interview campaigns, and completed scorecards - including structured ratings and direct transcript quotes - push back into the Greenhouse candidate profile in real time.
Yes. The Lever integration allows Voxxhire to ingest candidates from Lever pipelines and return scorecards directly into the Lever opportunity. Interview stage progression is automatically reflected in Lever when a Voxxhire interview is completed and reviewed.
Voxxhire has built a Workday Recruiting integration and is pursuing Workday partner sandbox access; it is currently available on request while that process completes. Contact sales for current status and timeline.
Not yet. Voxxhire does not currently have a Zoho Recruit or Keka adapter. Voxxhire has built 11 ATS adapters (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Bullhorn, Personio, Teamtailor), currently available on request while vendor sandbox access is being finalised - contact sales with your ATS and timeline.
Scorecard writeback is built for each supported ATS adapter and activates once that integration goes live for your account.
That's fine. Voxxhire works as a standalone platform. You can manage interview campaigns, review scorecards, and progress candidates entirely within the Voxxhire dashboard. Export to CSV or PDF is available at any stage. Many early-stage hiring teams in India and GCC start with Voxxhire as their primary tool before connecting an ATS.
Pricing & Plans
Voxxhire pricing is based on interview volume and feature tier. Starter covers up to 50 interviews per month; Growth covers up to 250 interviews per month; Enterprise is unlimited volume with custom pricing. There is no public list price - contact our team for a personalised quote tailored to your hiring volume and geography.
Yes. Voxxhire offers a pilot programme for qualifying hiring teams that includes a set number of live interview credits to test the platform on real roles. Pilot programmes typically run for two to four weeks and include dedicated onboarding support. Request a pilot via our contact form.
Each completed candidate interview consumes one credit. Credits are purchased in bundles - the more credits in a bundle, the lower the per-interview cost. Credits can be used across any roles, departments, or geographies in your organisation's Voxxhire account.
Yes. Unused interview credits roll over for up to 12 months from the purchase date on Growth and Enterprise plans. Starter plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Enterprise customers can also negotiate annualised credit pools with flexible allocation across teams.
Yes. Enterprise plans include unlimited seats, dedicated account management, custom SLAs, priority support, bespoke ATS integrations, multi-jurisdiction data routing, and quarterly business reviews. Enterprise pricing is negotiated based on annual interview volume. Contact us to start the conversation.
Candidate Experience
Most Voxxhire screening interviews take between 12 and 20 minutes, depending on the number of questions configured by the hiring team. Candidates can see the estimated duration before they begin. Hiring teams can configure shorter 8-minute assessments for high-volume graduate or retail hiring, or longer 30-minute structured interviews for senior roles.
Yes. Voxxhire interviews are fully mobile-optimised. Candidates access the interview via a browser link - no app download required. Voice input works on all modern mobile browsers including Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android. This is especially important for GCC and India hiring, where mobile-first internet access is common.
Voxxhire's voice interview engine is optimised for low-bandwidth conditions. Audio is compressed and streamed in lightweight segments, reducing the impact of intermittent connectivity. If a candidate's connection drops mid-interview, their progress is saved and they can rejoin the same session. Hiring teams are notified of any technical interruptions in the session log.
Yes. Every Voxxhire interview session begins with a brief practice question - not scored - that allows candidates to test their microphone, hear how the AI voice sounds, and get comfortable with the format before the interview questions begin. This significantly reduces candidate anxiety and drop-off rates.
Yes, always. Voxxhire requires transparent disclosure to candidates that they are interacting with an AI system before the interview starts. The pre-interview screen clearly states that responses are processed by AI and reviewed by human recruiters. Hiring teams cannot disable this disclosure. Transparency is a core part of Voxxhire's compliance framework.
Yes, at the hiring team's discretion. If a candidate experienced a genuine technical issue - connectivity dropout, background noise disruption, or a device failure - the hiring team can issue a retake link from the Voxxhire dashboard. Retake permissions are logged and audited. Voxxhire's support team can also review session logs to verify whether a reported issue occurred.
Interview Quality & Bias
Voxxhire's fairness approach operates at three levels: structural (every candidate for a given role hears the same questions in the same order), evaluative (AI scoring is anchored to pre-defined competency evaluation matrices set by the hiring team, not inferred demographic signals), and auditable (all scores are traceable to specific transcript excerpts, so any human reviewer can inspect the reasoning).
Yes. Voxxhire runs regular internal bias audits across aggregated, anonymised interview data to detect statistical score disparities correlated with protected characteristics such as accent, gender, or national origin. Results are shared with enterprise customers in quarterly bias audit reports. Customers can also request a third-party audit facilitation for their specific deployment.
Voxxhire's interview methodology is grounded in decades of industrial-organisational psychology research. Schmidt & Hunter (1998) and subsequent meta-analyses consistently show that structured interviews - with standardised questions and criterion-anchored scoring - outperform unstructured interviews for predicting job performance. Voxxhire applies this research at scale by enforcing structure programmatically across every interview.
Yes - and this is exactly why Voxxhire is AI-assisted, not AI-decided. The AI provides a scored recommendation backed by evidence from the transcript. A human reviewer always makes the final decision on whether a candidate advances. Hiring teams are encouraged to review transcripts rather than rely solely on scores, and Voxxhire's UI makes it easy to surface the underlying evidence for every rating.
When a hiring team creates an interview in Voxxhire, they select the seniority level and define (or choose from a library of) competency-anchored questions. Voxxhire's question library includes variants calibrated for entry, mid, senior, and executive levels for common function areas. The AI's evaluation matrices are also adjusted per seniority - the same 'communication' competency is evaluated against different behavioural indicators at different levels.
Both. Voxxhire supports configurable competency frameworks that can include technical skills (e.g., data analysis, product knowledge), behavioural competencies (e.g., stakeholder management, conflict resolution), and soft skills (e.g., communication clarity, structured thinking). Each competency is scored on a four-point scale with transcript-anchored evidence, regardless of whether it is technical or interpersonal.
Setup & Operations
Most hiring teams are running live interviews within 48 hours of signing up. Day one covers account setup, ATS integration (if applicable), and interview template creation. Day two is typically a test interview with the hiring team before going live with candidates. Enterprise deployments with multiple jurisdictions and custom integrations may take one to two weeks.
Yes, fully. Hiring teams can write their own questions, edit Voxxhire's library questions, set follow-up probing logic, define evaluation matrices, and specify the order and weighting of competencies. Role-specific interview templates can be saved and reused. There are no platform-level restrictions on what questions can be asked, though Voxxhire's compliance toolkit flags questions that may be legally problematic in specific jurisdictions.
There is no practical ceiling on simultaneous interviews. Voxxhire's infrastructure is designed for high-concurrency hiring events - campus recruitment drives, mass intake campaigns, and seasonal hiring surges. Enterprise customers running several hundred concurrent interviews in a single day should notify their account manager in advance so capacity can be pre-allocated.
Yes. Voxxhire's multi-jurisdiction mode allows a single account to manage hiring across multiple countries, with data routing automatically directed to the correct regional infrastructure (e.g., UAE data stays in UAE, India data stays in India). Teams can run jurisdiction-specific interview templates, compliance disclosures in local languages, and generate per-country audit reports - all from one dashboard.
Enterprise customers receive a dedicated account manager, a named technical implementation engineer during onboarding, priority email and phone support with guaranteed response SLAs, quarterly business reviews, and access to Voxxhire's compliance and legal team for jurisdiction-specific questions. A 24/7 support escalation line is available for customers running high-volume hiring events across time zones.
