Why We Built Voxxhire: The Origin Story
We didn't start by building an AI interview platform. We started by being frustrated candidates and overwhelmed recruiters.
The Frustration
Every hiring process we experienced felt broken. As candidates, we spent hours tailoring resumes for keyword filters, then waited weeks to hear nothing. As hiring teams, we spent days scheduling phone screens that lasted 30 minutes and produced vague notes.
The worst part: we knew the system was failing everyone. Great candidates dropped out because the process was too slow. Great hires were missed because the screening was too shallow.
The Insight
The first round of screening doesn't need to be deep. It needs to be consistent, structured, and fast. A 10-minute conversation that covers the right topics produces better signal than a 45-minute phone screen that goes off on tangents.
And candidates deserve better than talking to a camera with no feedback.
What We Built
Voxxhire is an AI-assisted interview platform. It runs structured voice interviews, generates transcripts and scorecards, and gives hiring teams the evidence to make faster, better-informed decisions.
Key principles from day one:
- Human control — AI assists, humans decide. Always.
- Candidate respect — Interviews should feel like conversations, not interrogations.
- Evidence over vibes — Scorecards with quotes and competency scores, not gut feelings.
- Speed without shortcuts — Faster screening that produces better signal, not faster garbage.
Where We Are Now
Voxxhire is used by companies, universities, and hiring teams across the UAE and beyond. We're still early, but the feedback is consistent: teams screen faster, candidates have better experiences, and hiring decisions have more substance.
We're building the hiring tool we wished we had — as both candidates and recruiters.
What's Next
We're focused on three things:
- Better AI interviews — More natural, more adaptive, more useful
- Deeper integrations — Connect with the tools teams already use
- Richer analytics — Help teams understand and improve their hiring process
If you're a hiring team that wants to screen faster without giving up control, we'd love to talk.
